Day 323:
I am a bad photographer in a way. I am not the kind of photographer that tells models where to stand, what to do, when to smile. I am terrible at that. I am, however, extremely good at laying low and not making it known that I'm taking a picture, thus getting the natural candid photo that I prefer anyway.
but this one I didn't notice until Renea was 3/4 of the way out of the picture, so I asked her to step back a tiny bit. I think that's progress, haha.

So I've been working superrr hard to get all caught up on my pictures so I can actually maybe post one post a day or two again, like I used to. Renea's pictures for Etsy took higher priority though, because I really love helping her out with her Etsy site, and she's so unbelievably talented! and then my Dad has been wanting the pictures of us in Nashville, and you all know how much I dislike skipping through all the pictures to find the few that include us.
Call me weird, but after I sift through all the pictures without finishing a single one to get to the two that people are asking about, I have little or no desire to go back and work on them when I've already seen them. It messes me up.
but anyway, I finally broke down and said that out of the 800 pictures from the Zoo, I would ONLY work on the ones I really liked. So here they are!

The glass that uK got an Icee in at the Aquarium in Denver, full of beer. and yes, that is really a tower of chopped potatoes. I was bored and we weren't quite sure what to do with them yet :x |

The books I ended up with today, haha.
Going to the library or a book store is one of my favorite things to do, I get that kid-in-a-toy-store feeling every time.
I looked for some Charles Bukowski for uK while I was there. I didn't understand how he could be such a well known author and there not be a single Bukowski book in our local library. I was baffled.
Having read part of one that uK recently grabbed at Barnes and Noble(plus him telling me more about it as he was reading), however, I now realize why there are no Bukowski books our small town library.
I managed to find a couple of vegetarian cook books right next to a book on how to skin a deer. o_O |

uK with Manpants! ahahaha.
Manpants doesn't really come over here much unless it's really cold outside. He is pretty much enemies with every other cat on the ranch. He and Pachuca are best friends though, they snuggle all the time. |

uK has started teaching me to roll cigarettes. I don't smoke, but I figure he can't really roll them while he's driving and such, it's the least I can do. Plus it's kinda fun, only mine always come out oddly shaped, and I get tobacco everywhereee. o_O |
